A GuestThis is the best bike tail light I've ever used but I wish they'd make it waterproof. It really makes you feel safe when motorists and cyclists tell you that they can see you through fog and rain at a great distance. I have to mention that the light stopped working due to water leak during a driving rain storm. After I opened it up and let it dry out overnight it was fully functional again. I put electrical tape around the seam to keep out water and haven't had any further problems.

shredbetty61Easy to clip on mount, which easily attaches to seat stay. Can rotate to change angle up-down to maximize visibility. Can clip also onto jersey pocket or daisy chain on backpack. Very bright.

silverphNo major complaints here. I find it well made although I have not yet opened it to inspect the internals nor how the battery replacement is. Bright enough -- really bright at night, not enough for full daylight. Duh, of course, but I still put it on for increased daytime safety. Can be seen in dark areas like in bridges, shadows, etc. Good size, not too big or small. I thought I don't like the color white from the picture but it doesn't bother me now.
Mount is nice although I tried mounting it on the chain stay and both adapters weren't really working for the diameter but very minor gripe as I was able to find a workable solution.
I recommended it unless you are looking for a 1-watt unit. I may get one to SUPPLEMENT this one. Nice to have multiple lights for safety.

A GuestRode solo, self-contained all over the US on a 9000 mile tour in 2012. Only changed batteries once. Easily mounted to the rear rack with hardware included. Also made a special bracket on my back fender for a second light. Banged around quite a bit and never cracked the lens or body, though once I did have it come apart on impact. Reassembled and worked just fine.

ultrajkoHave one on every one of my recumbents and cannot imagine riding with the nut cases on the road without it! Shows up well in the daylight and goes a long time between batteries. Highly recommend!

ricomundyWhen I started using this light, I found cars gave me a wider berth. It is excellent even in daylight. I've taken it on centuries in the rain and have not had it get wet inside or fail. A RAAM racer recommended this somewhere, and I can see why.
The only downfall is a little design issue. The center LED is recessed in the back. When mud and dirt flip up onto the light they go into this area and block the LED. Even worse it is hard to clean out. Have to use an old toothbrush and even then it never gets really clean. I cannot understand why they didn't make the entire surface smooth. Then it would have been perfect.

A GuestI love this little, powerful light. You will be noticed for sure. However, I clip it to my cargo bag under my saddle and sometimes if I ride over a few bumps, it falls off. Otherwise it's a great light.

A GuestI have used this light for years and just bought another one for my nasty weather commuter bike. It's very bright, but one of the best features is its weird blink pattern that makes it hard to miss.

shredbetty61Easily mounted on rear stay, nice and bright, even Chevy Suburban driver complimented me on the light while riding in dark. Clip also works well on back pocket of jersey or daisy chain of backpack, or very securely mounted on bike.

brohrichGreat so far. I am using this clipped to my saddle bag on my road bike for early morning rides. This really makes me feel like I am seen.
