Acera delivers the responsive feeling of a serious mountain bike to casual riders and entry-level cyclists. This crankset also features Shimano's patented hyperdrive system to provide quiet, easy and trouble-free shifting.
Functional, not beautiful and on the heavy side, but it works and beats upgrading to a 9 or 10 cog setup, that would cost more than the bike is worth.
