- Must order Shifter Bell Crank to make a fully functioning unit

The recommended gear ratio refers to the external gears, most bikes using this hub will use a 36/18t or 36/16t gearing.

This hub is designed for 120mm spaced dropouts. Shimano does make an 8-speed Nexus hub with a coaster brake that works with 135mm dropouts.
