Q.
asked by: a guest
Can I still use my existing tube if I switch from 700x38c to 700x35c tires?
A.
anwered by: canteau
More than likely you should be able to reuse the same tube. Most of the inner tubes for this tire size are 35-43mm which would accommodate both tire sizes.
If you happen to have a tube that is printed 38-47mm you might want to go to a slightly smaller tube.

These should fit your rims just fine, but make sure you have enough clearance on your frame for the wider tires.

docallen44This is my second pair of these tires. I use them on a bike that I run on rocky semi-paved roads. The last pair had over 2000 miles and the back tire was finally wearing out. I've had 2 flats on the rear and 1 on the front. For 2 of the flats, I was able to ride home before the air pressure got too low to safely ride. I've ridden them in rain, snow, sleet, and sunshine and the've never failed to impress. Best commuter tire I've ridden for the money. They're also pretty quiet on pavement.

A GuestOk It is a year and 3500 miles later and I am buying another one. Great tire!

malysi01For the price that you can get these...I have 8 already, I think. Awesome price for this beefy treaded tire. It's good rolling and has good water channels to push all of the water out. I took these to a local mtb trail on my commuter and they did alright there but its definitely not a mtb trail tire. You can use them on those dirt shortcuts all day long. Plus it has a K shield puncture-resistant which has worked for me so far.

TJD2011With a couple hundred miles on this tire I am very pleased. The tire has a quality feel to it and rides silent and smooth, which is about all one can hope for in a bike part.
