ST-Pro Bar Ends

The ST-Pro Bar Ends are about the least offensive bar ends out there. They provide all of the bar end functionality with minimal 1995ness. A must for prolonged out of the saddle endeavors on your Single Speed. The install of these bad boys is a bit more complex than it needs to be, at least on my Carbon Salsa Moto sweep bar. The OD of the bar and the ID of the ST-Pro did not seem to match up 100%. Removing the allen bolt and wedging a flat tipped screwdriver (delicately and lightly) into the slot on the ST-Pro worked wonders. One on, it was all good and adjustment was easy. Per the instructions only 3 turns past contact! don't overtighten. And use the roll of biscuits method to get the plugs out! On the bike they feel good, not great. The shape and everything is spot on, but the molding of the plastic isn't great with bare hands. There are sharp ridges and lines that provide discomfort. a bit of 500 grit and 5 minutes a side eliminates this issue. I haven't had the pleasure of crashing them or otherwise trying to break them so not speaking to durability.

great feel, nice to have a different position, but you need to be careful with toque as the whole plastic handle can split.
