Yes for the rear if it is a 9speed derailleur, it will not work with Dynasys and no for the front if you are using a road crank.

I converted my Scott CR1 pro to a flat bar configuration and purchased Shimano SL-R770 10-spd Flat Bar Shifters. Several local bike shops could not sell me the shifters for under $***.**. Tree Fort Bikes sold them for $***.** plus free shipping. The shifters arrived 4 days after I made the purchase. I also purchased a flat bar double barrel brake lever for my tandem. There was a problem with USPS. I called TFB and they assured me the lever was shipped but if I didn't receive it within a day they would ship another one the following day. The lever came the following day. They were very courteous and wanted to please. I would highly recommend Tree Fort to all of my bike riding friends.

Tree Fort's deal was the best. I converted an Ultegra-equipped road bike to flat bars after its rider had back surgery. The shifters work as expected, and I found that with care, I was able to get the Ultegra front derailleur to work acceptably well. I would advise one to not buy an FD-R770 or FD-R773 until they give their existing front derailleur a try.
