nscountsI read the instructions completely before I started and the process seemed to be very intensive. However, when you perform the steps, they are very logical and simplistic. Bleeding the brakes was a piece of cake and the materials that are supplied with this kit is all you need. The key is to make sure that you do not skip a step. There is a reason to do it in the order recommended.

A GuestJust bled my Juicy 7 brakes. It is a little messier than I expected, make sure to wear rubber gloves. Instructions were a little confusing since they apply to so many models. Had to refer to the instructions several times on the first brake line and only once on the second. It is fairly intuitive.

A GuestVery easy to follow directions. The Avid Bleed Kit works best with a helping hand. Two thumbs up.

mrcaseymanMy first time ever bleeding my brakes. Read the instructions twice. Started the process, referred back to the directions while doing it.
Worked great. Brakes now work great.
Yes it's messy for a rookie like me. Pro's probably don't have the messy problem.

A GuestI watched the sram youtube video and used this bleed kit. Took me a little bit of time due to me wanting to do it perfect. But it was easy and the kit had everything I needed. The brakes feel great now and I have brakes all the way through my ride.

jawebberThe directions were complete and expansive, anticipating my questions and doubts about the process. Rubber gloves are a necessity due to the toxic nature of the fluid.
I was successful on the first try and would definitely recommend this kit as an addition to the toolbox!

cerbx7I won't go on about it... It does what it's supposed to do.
I'm still on the fence about hydraulic brakes.
I have BB7s on another bike and they work great. They don't need this expensive kit and can be fixed anywhere with a piece of cable.
