I am really interested in this hub.Is it silent like my Shimano single speed freewheel .
A.
anwered by: abarnosky
Though quieter than many traditional rear cassette hubs, it is not going to run near silently like the Shimano freewheels do.

jparryIt is weird. The hub seemed to weigh less after the wheel was built. It is a good ride and functions as expected. The gear ratio is a little tighter then I expected but it shifts well. It was easy to install and looks really good. They plastic cover is awkward as I installed the hub on an old road bike with shorter stays so my foot hits the cover, if I am not centered on the pedal. The coaster brake will take more practice. It was been a long time since my last coaster brake.
