Unfortunately, these top caps are designed for a 1 1/8" steer tube, so they wouldn't set correctly on a 1" steer tube.

This is a top cap, pretty simple.
The rub is you snap the cap of your latest liquid conquest to the top as a trophy/explanation for your poor riding.
It does just that. Snapping the cap on is easy, getting it off is too, and unless you mauled it upon removal from the bottle nothing else is required.
Otherwise a good conversation starter and a cool way to keep your bike interesting.

It's a simple top cap and it works. Nothing special except hold the cap to your favorite brew which is exactly what I want it to do.

Got Beer? or Soda? Put your favorite bottled beverage cap on your bike. Its simple to use and a great way to personalize your steed.
How do you get the cap off the bottle without bending it? Put the cap (while still on the bottle) on the edge of a piece of wood and push down slowly. It will release from the bottle perfectly.
Simply attach it to the Niner top cap after you've installed it on your bike.

It makes my race bikes go faster and my fat bike ride smoother...and if it doesn't, well it does look good!
If you're so good the added weight makes a difference, then you're not drinking enough beer to have one anyway...

MTB beer style points. What's not to like? Who cares if it's a few grams heavier than your standard cap.
