Tire clearance maybe an issue, The Campee is designed for a 26" and not the larger 700c wheels that the Vaya uses.
For the best fit with Vaya use the Salsa Wanderlust rack.

Yup. This is the exact setup I have on a bike, and it works great. Plenty of clearance with 650b wheels and 35 mm tires.
