I've read a few reviews on the SRAM Blackbox that claimed this bottom bracket required time to break in, but that wasn't the case for mine. I'm pretty sure those reviewers over tightened the thing, because the crank turns smooth as butter immediately upon assembly. The anodized red finish is great, and as a bonus, the torque specs, side orientation, and direction of tightening are all printed on the cups permanently.
