The Eggbeater design has developed a dedicated following for it's unique, minimalistic design that allows easy 4-sided entry, a wide open mud and snow clearing design, and 2 release angle options.

If you fnd the Quattro cleat all crank brothers clipless pedals will work with a three hole road shoe.

Out of the box, one of the spindles had play in it radially. Tightening up the bearing did nothing. Be aware that the end cap/dust seal is plastic and is very tight. You will damage it to remove it and get at the spindle nut.
