The most integral part of any drivetrain is the crankset, and Shimano has taken care while re-designing their flagship to make the crankset what draws the eye... and the pedaling enthusiast in you. They took the awesome shifting of their past mountain groups, and transferred it over to a 2x10 drivetrain, which shifts even better! Using the tried and true Shimano HollowTech II system coupled with a carbon composite reinforced titanium for increased stiffness and reduced weight, plus plated alloy outer and inner chainrings, this XTR crank keeps your bike feathery and lasts pedal stroke after pedal stroke. The 10 speed Dyna-Sys system's ramping and pinning on the chainrings make these baby''s shift on a dime.
