Long the leader in MTB drive train systems, Shimano's XTR group is beyond reproach when it comes to light weight, high quality gearing. The wide range 10-speed XTR cassette features 5 titanium cogs as well as a refined tooth profile for the HG-X chain and Shadow Rear Derailleur.

Nickel plated small cogs with titanium middle/large cogs provide a balanced level of shifting performance and durability while a 3-section aluminum spider design keeps things even lighter. This innovative 3-section spider features dual, 5-arm aluminum carriers with a middle 4-arm carrier to reduce weight and increase stiffness.
