I've used Look and SPD type pedals (Looks are better) but finally got sick of having to put on a special pair of shoes every time I wanted to hop on my bike. Although these don't work quite as well as clipless pedals, they work about 90% as well, are much easier to use (both getting your foot in and taking it out), and allow you to ride your bike without putting on cycling shoes. I'll probably never go back to clipless.
