gatorhawk24I've been riding with this freewheel for about 175 miles now, and it meets my needs. I replaced my bike's stock Shimano MF-TZ21-7 (14-28t) freewheel with this Epoch model (11-28t). It was an easy component swap-out; gear spacing is identical to the stock freewheel, but I had to slightly adjust the high and low settings on my rear derailleur. I wanted the added benefit of the 11t bottom gear, since I commute about 27 miles (round trip) to work using a mountain bike with slicks on it. This was the only 11-28t freewheel that I could find, and so far I'm happy with it.

themadhatter106I have owned one of the 11-32t DNP freewheels for about 2 years and had to buy another because the teeth wore out after about 5,000 miles and this made the chain skip. It probably would have lasted longer had I changed and cleaned the chain more often. Anyway, I bought the 11-30t version as a replacement and the freewheel bearing is junk right out of the box. When I spin the freewheel in my hand there is a scraping/rubbing sound and not the clean click, click that should be happening. I even tried oiling the freewheel bearing and it helped but there is still a noticeable rubbing. This is annoying and a sign that something is not right with the bearing; I notice the rubbing sound when costing on my bike. Even my old worn out freewheel does not do this. These freewheels are also rather expensive given that you can find a Shimano 13t one for about half the price. Too bad DNP is the only company that still makes a freewheel with 11t. The only other option is to try and find a NOS 11t freewheel on ebay but those can be rather expensive.
Since I've already bought this thing and put it on I'll probably ride it until it dies, but it's a piece of junk.
