Anything Cage

The Salsa Anything Cage is one of those products that makes you say why didn't I think of that. The Anything Cage works like a bottle cage for bigger stuff like fuel bottles, tents, Nalgene bottles or any other roundish item that you may to take with you.

Newer Salsa adventure bikes such as the 2nd Gen Fargo and the Mukluk include mounts for the Anything Cage on both the fork legs and the down-tube (depending on the size). The 3 bolt mount that these bike are equipped with are designed specifically with the anything cage in mind.

Don''t have a Mukluk or Gen 2 Fargo? No problem, the Anything Cage will fit standard water bottle mounts but will require a trip to the local hardware or auto store for a hose clamp that is of the appropriate diameter for your frame. You may also want to put up some clear 3M Adhesive film while you are there to prevent the clamp from damaging your frames finish. Do not run the Anything Cage with only 2 bolts or with 2 bolts and a zip tie. It at the very least could cause the cage to break or it could pull the cage bosses out of the frame.
