Shimano Altus RD-M310 Rear Derailleur is compatible with rear cassettes and freewheels with a tooth count of 34t or less. This derailleur will not work with a rear cog of 42t

Based on the photos it looks like it should fit, but if you are local it would be best to bring the bike by as the photos are sometimes pre-production models with different equipment that what you actually have.
