When Salsa created the Anything Cage, it changed the way that gear was carried on the front of your bike. You no longer needed to use large front racks, that are fine for a road touring, but when it comes to bikepacking and off the beaten path travels they become a little too cumbersome. The Anything Cages allow you to carry roundish shaped objects nice and low on the front forks for excellent control offroad.
If you are looking to carry more than a fuel canister or water bottle on your Anything Cage, Salsa created the Anything Bag. The Anything Bag is a perfectly shaped to fit the shape of both the Anything Cage and Anything Cage HD. Made from Radio-frequency welded 500 denier tarpaulin with a waterproof roll-top closure. Once you get to camp, the Anything Bag has a flat bottom to keep the bag upright. To help keep the bag in place on even the roughest of journeys Salsa added nylon daisy chain webbing so you can customize the strap locations to best hold your load.

I'm looking to buy two Anything bags to use with Fork cages. I want to carry my sleeping pad, dimensions 11x4.5 inches and my Chair 13.8x3.9 inches. One in each bag. The size is listed as 4.5L would they fit those items, height and diameter? Thanks

The Salsa Anything Bags measure roughly 5" in diameter and 14" at the max height with a single fold closure.
The waterproof material doesn't have a lot give, so it might be a tight fit.

The Salsa Anything Bag is essentially a cylinder-shaped dry bag that has nylon webbing with to keep it in place. You would need some sort of cage or mount to give it shape, but it does not necessarily need to be the Salsa Anything Cage.

It will be really close, we measured a couple of bags and the shaped bottom portion measures around 130mm with some being a little larger 130.2mm and some smaller 129.8mm

Heard these were out of production for weeks or months, but found 'em at Tree Fort. So far so good with durability, and the extra lashing points are a great value for the price.
