The Michelin Protek tires have a cardboard tag and do not come boxed. They may ship bundled but not as small as a tire with a folding fiber bead.

This is a great, high quality tire. Unfortunately, I had to return (unused.....so no review of durability but looks like traction will be great). The bike I bought it for speced 700X28 and the tires I took off were 700X28 Schwinn Super Sports (semi-slick, skin wall).....but the Michelins were substantially taller (probably due to flatguard and deep tread pattern) and hit the rear brake bridge and caliper brake arms. So....be aware of the clearance is you purchase. Otherwise a great tire for the price.
