The Blackburn Camber CF has a flared mouth to improve ease of bottle insertion. Unique reinforcing side ribs increase stiffness to boost strength and bottle grip. The lower cradle/bottle stop area is designed to provide more support for critical strength in an area where other carbon cages fail. And the whole thing is optimized for an ideal balance between quick bottle access and optimal bottle grip.
Of course it's lightweight—a mere 32 grams to be exact—but more importantly, it''s strong. Strong enough that it''s backed by Blackburn''s Lifetime Warranty.
This is Blackburn''s newer version of the Camber cage made with UD, unidirectional, carbon fiber. The woven Camber cages can been seen here. Once the woven cages are gone, they''re gone.
