Tiagra 4603 39t 130mm 10-Speed Chainring

The Shimano Tiagra 4603 triple 39t middle chainring is made from aluminum and features cut-outs to help reduce weight. Tiagra 4603 chainrings use Shimano's SG-X tooth profile for precise, quick shifts. The 39t chainring is designed to be paired with the Tiagra 4603 30t inner chainring and 50t outer chainring.

The Tiagra 4603 39t chainring is designed to work as a middle chainring and will not work as an inner chainring on a double crank. Middle chainrings are designed to allow the chain to drop into the lower gear, not a feature you want on an inner chainring. Because the chainring needs to shift both up and down the shift points are different than that of a double chainring that only needs to shift up.
