The Ice Cream Truck boasts a symmetric 190mm-spaced cro-moly frame, suspension-corrected 150mm-spaced fork, and sporty trail-oriented geometry. Supported by massive 4.8" tires, it's ready to deftly tackle nearly any terrain.
- Surly''s Modular Dropout System gives you the option of 12mm thru axle (Shimano Direct Mount derailleur hanger), 10mm QR geared, or singlespeed
- Complete bikes equipped with the Modular Dropout System will include only the appropriate chip for derailleur spec. Other chips are available aftermarket
- 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel with 44mm headtube
- Frame is ED Coated for increased life expectancy
- Rock Shox Bluto suspension fork is not compliance compatible with stock tires. (Surly Bud and Lou)

The Surly Ice Cream Truck uses thru-axle hubs, 197mm in the rear and 150mm in the front.
While the hubs are standard thru-axle and will work with any brand that makes fat bike thru-axle hubs, the Ice Cream Truck frame, and fork use Surly specific thru-axles and are not compatible with RockShox Maxle or DT Swiss RWS aftermarket thru-axles.
