Pedro's Slick Wax chain lube replaces a shop and rider favorite chain lube Pedro''s Ice Wax. Slick Wax continues the self cleaning properties that made Ice Wax the go to lube for riders in dry and dusty conditions but is reformulated with Pedro''s CleanTech Chemistry  blending advanced wax polymer technologies while keeping with Pedro''s commitment to use only natural waxes and plant based materials. Slick Wax does not contain petroleum, paraffin or synthetic waxes like some of the other wax based lubes on the market. 

Slick Wax sheds dirt as it builds up so you do have to apply it a little more often than a traditional lube with a recommended interval of 50-75 miles depending on the conditions. If you are looking for a lube that might not be as clean as Slick Wax but gives you a little more mileage Pedro''s X Dry is a great option. 

Pedro''s recommends that you apply the Slick Wax lube to your chain and then let it soak in at least an hour before wiping the excess off with a rag or disposable shop towel. Following these simple instructions will ensure that you get the most protection and the least amount of build up on your chain.
