B-RAD 2 Base Mount

As the headline says, if you need to adjust the position of your bottle cage mounts, this is the only real game in town. There are of course other brands and you could 3d print your own but this one is adjustable, comes in longer lengths, and is from a brand that has a reputation for solving problems. With that said, there are two things problematic issues and one thing to always keep in mind. First, these things are incredibly expensive for what they are, and considering they are! A twenty-dollar bill for the two-slot bracket is in my opinion outrageous. I think it would be reasonable to expect two of them for that price. Second is the fact that they use Torx head screws and not standard hex-head water bottle screws! This is short-sighted considering these mainly go on bikes that are, touring, mountain biking, or bike packing and the addition of a Torx-head screw means carrying another tool. All in all, a good product, could be a great product if offered with standard hex heads and offered at a better price point. The thing to keep in mind with these is there is a 1.7 Kg weight limit so don't overload them.
