Cobrafist Bar Plugs: Black

I have raceface bars with ergon gp1 grips (non bar end FYI) and I purchased some XL bar mitts. however, I purposely bought the bar end version of the bar mitts because the intended non-bar end versions are secured using an odd velcro strap inside that is quite frankly,...crappy by design. with the bar end mitts there's a hole, and I needed a bar end plug to fill the void. This allows a really secure attachment from mitt to bar. Don't forget to head to Lowes or HD and buy an oversized Hillman rubber washer for 0.80 to prevent the mitt from slipping over the bar end. the question is,..why are all mitts commonized and in this manner, ensuring a solid attachment thus rendering the inner velcro strap obsolete? Don't be a follower, attach your mitts the right way!
