asked by: a guest my bike 26x4.9 tires stock I need for winter new tires for ice, snow trails any suggestions
A.
anwered by: canteau The 45NRTH Dunderbeist and Flowbeist are great for riding in groomed conditions. If you are looking for performance on ice, there is no substitute for a studded tire like the 45NRTH Dillinger or Wrathchild.

asked by: a guest flowbeist/dunderbeist vs. Vanhelga? I ride a little mix of everything in the winter.
A.
anwered by: canteau The 45NRTH Flowbeist/Dunderbeist have a larger volume than the Vanhelga for better float and a tread pattern that has been tuned for snow riding on firm to loose over firm conditions.
The 45NRTH Vanhelga is a more aggressive tread pattern for looser or sloppy conditions in all seasons for riders that need grip over reduced rolling resistance.
