Keep it light. I have been using to transport small items mostly and I've been using it often just to carry stuff to and from the pier I fish off. Waiting to put a fish in it! Also, because my mountain bike bars were thicker than the stock bolts provided I did have to dig through my garage to find a couple of longer bolts and nuts that would work. I would still purchase the basket again tomorrow. It's a well made, relatively light, good looking basket.
