A GuestThis is by far the best lube I have ever used. They are giving it out for free at Xterra events, but I out now. None of the local shops carry it yet, but I'm happy to find it on line. Try it. Clean , long lasting, quiet. does not attract dirt.

spacity7Been using this lube for several years and love it. It works great in the dry climate of southern California.

jim_adlerIn April, 2011, I replaced chainrings and chain on my MTB. The cassette was fairly new. I used Squirt Lube exclusively, the lazy way. I didn't remove the original chain lube. After 1 or 2 rides, I began applying Squirt to the inside, bottom of the chain while reverse pedaling. I wiped the chain before applying Squirt, but not after. I did this before every ride.
In April, 2012, I measured the chain wear with a steel ruler over a 12-inch span. Three measurements gave me wear between 1/64 and 1/32 inch.
I then put on a new chain, saving the old one to reinstall after this one if the rings show some wear.

anonymousI love Squirt lube since chain runs smooth and it doesn't pick up road grime anywhere near as much as wet or dry lube. I re-apply every 150 miles.
I also love TreeFort - reliable and cost-effective.

raystraxI've used Squirt 2 years now. Longest chain wear ever in my 30 years of trail riding, by far compared to other solvent or oil based dry and wet lubes. Works better for chain life than wet lubes in rainy muddy conditions too. Squirt doesn't absorb dirt like solvent and oil based do, rain or dry.
First use, degrease the factory or other oil based lube and let dry completely. Then apply enough to soak into each link and let dry, and apply again and let dry. It's best to apply and let dry for 30 minutes before riding (if possible), it will last longer before the chain gets noisy. (New chains do take longer to break in to be quiet for more than 15 miles using Squirt.)
Do not ever clean the chain other than wiping the outside faces of the links for appearance. Letting Squirt build up in the chain is the key to it's long wear protection compared to any other.

A GuestLasts longer and runs quieter than other dry lubes I have tried. This translates to about double the miles as other lubes while on endurance rides. Perhaps the nicest feature is that you don't have to do the messy rag wipe after you apply it. This is nice if you want to quiet your drivetrain after 5 hours of riding in the dust. Works great in the dirt and on the road in my experience, whether riding in California, Colorado, Utah, or Arizona.

ATolkoffMy local shop gave up the ghost, and left me in search of my favorite lube. T-9 is good, but attracts way too much dirt and dust. This is the best, forget the rest.
Make sure your chain is clean and free from any grit before applying.

wlblakeI am a roadie and use this exclusively now. Extends chain wear to beyond anything I've experienced with other types of lubes. I ride 150 miles per week and apply lube twice during that period. There is some wax build up on derailleur pulleys so periodically I use a citrus degreaser to take of that.

A GuestI was looking for a good lube in the dry Southern California conditions that I ride in. I was using Finish Line Dry Teflon and I would have to degrease and re-lube my chain every two rides. I decided to try Squirt after hearing good things. At first I was skeptical when it went on VERY thick. However, after having a few rides on it, it stays clean, and the thickness keeps the dirt from getting into the rollers. I no longer have to degrease before I re-lube because the dirt just wipes off and doesn't get into the rollers. I am switching all my bikes to Squirt.

A GuestGreat product. Make sure you degrease everything (chain even if its new out of the box, cassette and chainrings) before applying. This wax is waterbased. Oil repels water so having old oil on the chain will not let this product work efficiantly. For first application apply one drop to each roller on the chain wait 30 minutes and apply a second coat. Cycle through your entire rear cassete and chainrings. Dont apply and ride soon after because that will not give the wax time to dry so it will get dirty and then dry with the dirt in it. Lasted 50 miles of dusty aggresive trail riding before needing another application. Easy to clean without degreaser.

A GuestThus far I don't love it. I've used about half the bottle on road, mtn, cross bikes. It is quiet. And although not as bad as White Lightning the wax build-up is a mess, especially inside on the trainer. I wipe excess after application, before it dries, to try and reduce the build-up. Will give it 'til the end of the bottle, then probably switch to another lube.
