The Buttermilks pack features a silicone impregnated, super-light 140D ripstop nylon for waterproofness that won''t rub off or wear out, with a heavier 420D nylon on the pack bottom for toughness. This pack is designed with comfort first, the z-foam back panel and removable frame sheet are shaped to match the curvature of your back, and the compression and expansion of the foam pumps air through it to keep you cool and comfortable, the more you move the more air it pumps!

This pack also has a roll-top lid, letting you overfill it for trips to camp and compress it down for day hikes. This pack is designed with the minimalist hiker in mind, without endless buckles, zippers, and straps that add weight, focusing instead on things you''ll use like daisy chains that tuck away, and a stretch back pocket for quickly stashing jackets and snacks.
