The Brook's B-17 S is the women''s specific model for Brook''s classic saddle. On the market for more than four generations of riders, featured as early as 1898, the B-17 is a wider saddle designed for increased comfort needed on long rides. Black steel rails undergird tensioned leather. Use a dressing such as Brook''s Proofride to break in the leather, and in time, this saddle will form to your body remarkably well. Haven't been using for too long yet, just put it on my bike last week. But the rides since have been immensely more comfortable than my previous canvas seat. I imagine it will only get more comfortable as it is broken in!

Honestly, I purchased this saddle for looks (it doesn't disappoint!) Not only does it add a dash of style to my bike, it's comfortable and sturdy - added bonus. Highly recommend!

I commute and am looking forward to many weekends touring in Pt. Reyes. I've had the Brooks B17 saddle on my TREK Multitrack for 5yrs. so I know that they only get better with age.
The saddle on my new Specialized Vita is a real pain, though the bike is absolutely fantastic! Replacing it with this well priced B17 and sooo looking forward to years of comfortable riding.
I highly recommend this saddle for any woman who commutes, tours or just wants a quality saddle that will last as long as your bike.
