Engineered to have low drag as well as manageable in a cross wind, the cross-section of the rim is achieved by mating carbon to an aluminum rim. Having an aluminum braking surface opens the door to improved performance and durability in less than ideal riding conditions, and Campy''s exclusive coupling system makes for a strong, rigid rim that holds up against abuse and responds faster than fast.
