I have a standard crankset (53/39) and a short cage centaur derailleur (2007). Will the 12-30 cassette work with my setup. I currently run a 12-27 and I wanted to go to the 12-30 for hill climbing. I am just not sure the 12-30 will work.

Campagnolo officially supports a 26t as the lowest compatible cog, however many riders have had success running cassettes with cogs as large as 29t. We are unable to suggest that you use the 30t cassette with your short cage rear derailleur.
