A GuestThe tire rolls as smooth and efficient as you could possibly expect. You do lose a little bit of braking bite as compared to treaded tires, but balancing brake pressure keeps the distance reasonable. For the purpose of bringing an MTB to the street, its a very good option if you're mainly on dry roads. If the blacktop is smooth, it lets you put down some very decent speed down the straights. The GPS has tagged me far more often over 25mph then it had in the past.
While it only has been a hundred miles, the sheer amount of potential hazards that has been thrown in its way was stupendous. Glass shards on so many NYC streets, going up and down curbs with a bit more care then usual, and about 8 miles down a gravel road and yet it did not develop a puncture. In this regard, it has surpassed my expectations.

A GuestI upgraded from the 1.6 to the conti 1.3 for a faster ride. They haven't dissapointed me. As an aggressive rider, they give me a responsive sport bike feel. The tires feel secure to the road on deep turns. Over all, I love them and couldn't be happier. I have recommended them to friends.
