This is the second set of these I have purchased. I use SPDs in the summer and the DMR V12s in winter when it is snowy and/or icy. My feet seriously stick like glue when wearing winter cycling boots, but I can get my feet to the ground quickly if I need to which I can't do with the SPDs. These save me at least once a week in winter! I love and highly recommend them.
