Originally tried to order the normal alloy V12s but they were on backorder. Tree Fort easily switched me up to the Mags which were in stock and I gladly paid the difference. Great customer service.
The pedals themselves are great. I'd ridden clipless since 2002 or so, and after a bit of a riding hiatus I decided to give flats a try again. Wanted to find a pedal that was reasonably priced, durable, and relatively thin. The V12 Mags fit the bill perfectly. The grip is outstanding and they've withstood numerous hard rock strikes out here in the East Coast rock gardens. I wouldn't have believed it prior to trying them, but I definitely feel myself letting loose and riding more aggressively and having more fun than I did when I was clipped in.
Summed up: Great customer service. Great pedals. Great price. Great buy.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

I absolutely love these pedals! I made the switch to flats after riding clipped-in for over 15 yrs. I wanted to learn to lift my bike without relying on my cleats. I am definitely riding more aggressively since making the change and these really fit the bill for fast, and chunky New England trails. They spin smoothly and have a relatively low profile. I am using them with a pair of 5.10 Freeriders and "stick like glue" is the operative phrase. I have been amazed at what I've been able to plow through without my feet shifting at all. I bought the white ones, which lost some paint after the first few rides. They have taken some hard pedal strikes though, and other than the paint, are no worse for wear. I think they look better with the signs of mtb love on them anyway.
