Alpine III Individual Spoke

The DT Swiss Alpine III Spoke has the lowest weight in relation to its strength. DT Swiss accomplishes this through a complex production process. DT Swiss starts with a spoke of 2.34 mm, the diameter is reduced at the thread to 2 mm and to 1.8 mm in the middle section during the cold forging process. This allows weight savings of 173g (per 64 spokes) when compared to spokes with a constant 2.34mm diameter. Despite the thin center section DT Swiss Alpine III spokes are very durable and are perfectly suited for the added stress caused by e-bikes, loaded touring bikes or tandems.
