Competition Straight Pull Spokes: Box of 20, Black

So, you made a mistake and bought a set of Mavic wheels like me. That sucks, because I know (now) that their customer service is non-existent and their parts are impossible to find. That means when one of your specialty straight-pull spokes inevitably breaks, you're stuck with a broken wheel. You search far and wide, call all the shops, but no one has the spokes you need. Enter these DT Swiss straight pull competition spokes. I will confirm for you that these do in fact work with Mavic wheels and hubs. Initially I ordered the length specified for my wheel by the schematics on Mavic's website, but alas, the DT Swiss threads are 4mm longer than the thread on the Mavic spokes. So, after re-ordering a spoke size 4mm shorter, my wheel is fixed and they seem to be holding up. Don't buy Mavic wheels, but if you do and need spokes, the DT Swiss ones seem to do the trick.
