These may work great on geared bikes or those with vertical dropouts, but on a single speed with horizontal DOs, you cannot get it tight enough, especially with disc brakes. If you try to torque them down so that the use of the rear brake doesn't cause the wheel to slide backward in the DOs, you will end up stripping out the threaded nut, which is made of aluminum - only the rod itself is CrMo.
