The GC1 is a grip developed for the ergonomic demands of users of bicycles with backward-swept handlebars, such as those found on city bikes. Using traditional grips on these bikes causes a kink in the wrist. The GC1 corrects this wrist position through its anatomic and ergonomically correct form. The GC1 is made from German developed, certified toxin free and UV stable rubber compounds. Specially positioned textures and different compound hardness ensure maximum comfort, and a secure grip.

Just love Ergon grips. This style works excellent for swept style handlebars found on cruiser bikes.
These grips are comfortable and make for a painless ride.
The instructions are a bit vague. However, I figured out how to install them.
Don't like the packaging as the one grip that is part of the display ends up with an end plug that is already crunched.
Hence that grip's end plug is not as secure as the one for the grip inside the box.
I love these grips on my Nito Bosco's. Tree Fort sent the wrong ones at first (grip shift version) but their customer service is second to none. I had the replacements within a week. Thank you Tree Fort for being my go-to-online-bike-shop...you're the best!
Bought these on the recommendation of Tree Fort Bikes when I purchased a Surly ECR. Great recommendation! I had hand numbness and pain with my previous setup (Surly Pacer riding down some bumpy Ann Arbor roads) on my 12 mile one way commute to work. No pain and the grips feel very comfortable and I actually feel like I have more control over the bike.
