I used to use auto parts brake cleaner for most of my degreasing endeavors, but once I was turned on to this stuff, I have switched over!
It does just as good as the brake cleaner, but what I really like is that it seems to be a lot less caustic. Less damaging to your skin, health, and your precious bike parts! In comparison, the extra money is worth that to me!

As others have said, this stuff does a great job of cleaning lubricant residue off cogs, derailleurs, dropouts, chainrings, and BB shells. There's lots of crud-blasting pressure, but it also cuts right through and dries clean and fast. Low odor, but best used out of doors. It does go quickly though; it's easy to burn through the better part of a can in one full bike cleaning.
