I carry a wedge on my bike for tools and needed a place for phone, keys and snack bars that is out of the way. This mount location allows me the security to keep my eye on the bag and gain easy access. This compliments the wedge.

Overall the bag is a nice quality bag. Built well. I was looking for something that I could have up front to hold my cell phone and/or iPod. Found out that my HTC HD2 doen't fit in it because of the taper in the bag. Smaller phones would be fine. But mine doesn't fit. So I guess I'll need something a bit bigger like a frame bag.
