The BURD, Blatantly Upgraded Rebranded Derailleur, is a Cyclocross specific front derailleur built to better fit 36/46 cyclocross or 34/50 compact gearing. It'll work with Shimano road shifters or with the Gevenalle CX, CXV or CXH shifters and is a rework of MicroShift''s top of the line shift mechanism. So, it''s super light but more real-world focused on Cyclocross. Gevenalle replaced the carbon cage with a stronger and smaller version to get it stiffer and more precise, even with mud accumulation.
