This is a good base level fitness bike that is well suited to be stable on gravel roads, bike paths and neighbor hood roads alike. That being said good could certainly mean fast and higher end, in which case that would not be a good comparison. Those bikes, which are lighter weight and carry higher end components all around are typically well over $1500 and easily up toward $8000. This will work great for a casual rider looking to get exercise, but probably not for someone looking to improve their time on a local segment or race gravel road races.
