can this kickstand hold more than 250 pounds
A.

This kickstand does not have a weight limit, please keep in mind kickstands are designed to just hold up your bike, not bike and rider. Putting full rider weight on a kickstand can cause failure of your frame.

A GuestI put this kickstand on my Jake the Snake that I converted to a touring bike. Installation went fairly smoothly, but I definitely had to consult the instructions online. Make sure to use blue loc-tite on all the screws and check them for looseness periodically. It's been on there for a year now with no issues. It gets lot of comments! I think seeing a kickstand on a "grown up" bike makes people happy! Very sweet not to have to lean the bike up against something or lay it on the ground every time I stop, especially if I've got all my panniers loaded down. It definitely adds a little weight to the bike, but to me it's worth the tradeoff.
