The GTO part of HED's GTO line stands for Grand Tour Oversize. Obviously, the oversize part refers to the 31.8 clamp diameter and tube size; the Grand Tour part means that this stem (and its matching handlebar) were designed to stand up to the rigors of day-long, high performance use for 3 straight weeks of racing. Slick yet classy graphics and light yet stiff and robust alloy construction come together to make a stem that lives up to its namesake.
