If the brakes are HFX-9's they will work. This caliper will work with the HFX-9 Generation 2 brake systems. It will also upgrade the older generation 1 caliper to Generation 2 provided that the proper hose kit is purchased.

I havent tried many disc brakes but once I tried the Hayes, it was a done deal. I like the strong feel and consistant feel. They are easy to bleed too. I have issues with this in the past and was frustrated by some other brands. I have rebuilt hayes before, they are easy to take apart, just be carefull of the brake pad pin on the piston. It doesnt take much to break it off.
