Pro 4 Boost Rear Hub 148mm x 12mm

The Pro 4 Disc is the latest generation Hope rear hub and like the Pro 2 Evo, it replaces the Pro 4 is designed and produced @ Hope's factory in Barnoldswick, UK. Hope machines each Pro 4 hub from a forged 2014 T6 aluminum billet for strength and durability. Stainless steel bearings roll smoothly even when ridden through the nasty conditions that mountain bikes can be exposed to.

148mm Pro 4 Boost rear hubs are available with either a Shimano/SRAM 11-speed and 11-speed Shimano mountain or SRAM 11/12-speed XD freehub body. The Shimano/SRAM freehub includes a spacer for compatibility with 8/9/10-speed cassettes. Hope Pro 4 Boost rear hubs have taller hub flanges vs the older Pro 2 Evo hubs which increase the strength and stiffness of the wheel without adding additional weight. Pro 4 rear hubs also feature an upgraded 44t ratchet system and 4-pawl drive system for lightning fast engagement.

This version of the Pro 4 Boost Rear Hub is compatible with 148mm x 12mm frames, because of the wider hub shell Hope Boost rear hubs cannot be converted to work with 135mm or 142mm frames.
