Basics Derailleur Cable Galvanized - Shimano and Simplex

I have used these cables on several vintage Schwinn 10 speed restorations. These, with the Huret ends, are the only cables that will work on the pre 1986 paddle style stem mount (actually under the headset top nut) Schwinn shifters. Note that on these applications, you will need to use Huret coiled (like brake cables) housing. If you use linear housing (with small inner wires running parallel like current Shimano housings) you will need to do a housing end retrofit (Schwinn housing brazeons have a rounded seat that will allow the wires in linear housing to eventually come out and jam the shift wire). Excellent product for this application.
