cuervo13I bought them because they were the cheapest cables, and i got the cheapest cables.

aharmonAn inexpensive cable and housing that does everthing you can ask at the price - perfect for a fixer-upper or kid's bike. Long enough for the rear of a girl's frame when routed to the bottom bracket.

A GuestThese are obviously cheap cables and lets face it, you usually get what you pay for. With that being said, I can't rate them too low because it's exactly what I expected. I would never put these on a trail bike or anything I needed top performance out of, but they are definitely adequate for a commuter bike or anything that isn't seeing demanding conditions or tons of use. You can't beat the price if you're just trying to get a fixer-upper back in action.

A GuestI have used this product on several vintage 10 speed Schwinns. The quality for the price is great. These are garage kept "fair weather" bikes....if you will experience extreme moisture of any sort long term, better to spend a few dollars more for sets with stainless steel wires. Otherwise a really great product with excellent lined housings, enough length for almost any application and both styles of ends (road and mountain).
